Murata Power Solutions has introduced a new family
of miniature, surface mount, I-core power inductors. Ideal for use
in designs with restricted PCB space and height, the ultra low-profile
8200 series is the smallest package size inductor introduced by Murata
Power Solutions.
Typical applications for the new 3.2mm x 2.5mm x 2.3mm (max.) high devices include low power filtering in PCMIA and ExpressCardTM products. They can also be used to provide EMI solutions in PCs, laptops, handheld devices and discrete DC/DC Converter designs.
Inductance values range from 1.0µH to 470µH, and DC current ratings span 70mA to 2.0A. Operating temperature range is -40ºC to +85ºC.
The 8200 series is fully RoHS compliant and may be exposed to peak reflow solder temperatures of 260ºC. Parts are supplied taped and reeled for high-volume, automated assembly.
Unit pricing for the Murata Power Solutions 8200 series is available on
request, and delivery is from stock to 8 weeks.
