Murata Power Solutions has added a new series of cost-effective eighth-brick DC/DC converters to its existing range of brick converter products. The fully isolated (2250VDC) UCE series is available with fixed output voltages from 1.5V to 12V, output current to 40A and output power up to 100W.

Why would I specify the UCE Series?

• High-density, open-frame design.
• Efficiency over 90%.
• Excellent thermal performance and derating enabling operation with full-rated power at their maximum 85ºC operating temperature with only moderate airflow.
• Low profile of just 10.16mm allows the UCE series to be incorporated into designs where space is limited.
