<p>Murata today announced the Murata Power Solutions MTE1 series of isolated 1 Watt single output DC-DC converters. Suitable for a broad range of industrial and automation applications, these highly efficient units, up to 88%, offer much better efficiency across the full load range than competitor models currently available, resulting in less waste heat to be dissipated. The MTE1 series consume less power and achieve higher reliability rates, contributing to better overall product and system reliability. The MTE1 series also has a load regulation that is typically 5% better than similar models available in the industry. Input voltage options are the 5 most popular nominal input voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, or 24 VDC input. Output voltages include 3.3, 5, 9, 12, or 15 VDC. Full load capability is provided across the full industrial temperature range of -40 degrees C to +85 degrees C.</p>
<p>The MTE1 series has the highest moisture sensitivity level rating, MSL 1, and is compatible with a peak reflow solder temperature of 245 degrees C as per J-STD-020D. Moisture absorption and retention can be a major issue for many surface-mount devices with lesser MSL rating, as large stresses can be generated when the part is subjected to a rapid and very large temperature rise, such as during lead-free reflow processing. The resulting rapid release of moisture as gas can easily physically destroy the device. An MSL 1 rating means no expensive handling and storage precautions are necessary.<br />
Packaged to match an industry standard footprint, the MTE1 series can be used as a pin-compatible replacement for older designs without the need to re-engineer an application’s PCB layout.</p>

Mit ihrem hohen Wirkungsgrad bis zu 88 % eignen sich diese Bauelemente für eine Vielzahl von Industrie‑ und Automatisierungs-Anwendungen. Sie kommen über den gesamten Ausgangsleistungsbereich hinweg auf eine höhere Effizienz als die derzeit angebotenen Konkurrenzprodukte und erzeugen deshalb weniger Abwärme. Die Serie MTE1 nimmt weniger Leistung auf und erzielt bessere Zuverlässigkeitswerte, wovon wiederum die Zuverlässigkeit auf der Produkt‑ und Systemebene profitiert. Die Lastregeleigenschaften der Serie MTE1 sind ebenfalls um typisch 5 % besser als bei ähnlichen von der Industrie angebotenen Produkten. Die Eingangsspannungs-Optionen der Reihe decken die fünf gebräuchlichsten Spannungen ab, nämlich 3,3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V und 24 V DC. Als Ausgangsspannungen stehen 3,3 V, 5 V, 9 V, 12 V und 15 V DC zur Auswahl. Ihre volle Ausgangsleistung können die Gleichspannungswandler über den gesamten industriellen Temperaturbereich von ‑40 °C bis +85 °C liefern.</p>
<p>Die Serie MTE1 weist mit MSL1 (Moisture Sensitivity Level) die beste Feuchtigkeitsempfindlichkeits-Einstufung auf und eignet sich gemäß J-STD-020D für Reflow-Löttemperaturen bis maximal 245 °C. Bei vielen SMD-Bauelementen führt die Aufnahme und Einlagerung von Feuchtigkeit zu einer niedrigeren MSL-Einstufung. Ursache hierfür sind die erheblichen Belastungen, denen das Bauelement bei sehr steilen und hohen Temperaturerhöhungen, wie sie beispielsweise bei der Reflow-Lötung auftreten, ausgesetzt wird. Die dabei entstehende schnelle Verdampfung der Feuchtigkeit kann leicht zur einer Zerstörung des Bauelements führen. Die Bewertung MSL1 bedeutet, dass keine speziellen, teuren Handhabungs‑ und Lagerungsvorkehrungen erforderlich sind.</p>
<p>Die Gleichspannungswandler der Serie MTE1 können dank ihres Industriestandard-Footprints als pinkompatibler Ersatz für ältere Designs verwendet werden, ohne dass das Leiterplatten-Layout der betreffenden Applikation überarbeitet werden muss.</p>

Convenant à un grand nombre d'applications industrielles et d'automatisation, ces produits offrent à pleine charge un rendement bien supérieur (jusqu'à 88%) à ceux de leurs concurrents actuellement sur le marché, d'où moins de dissipation de chaleur perdue. La série MTE1 consomme moins et présente une plus grande fiabilité, contribuant à une meilleure fiabilité globale du produit et du système. Par ailleurs, sa régulation de charge est typiquement supérieure de 5% à celle des modèles concurrents similaires. Chaque modèle est disponible dans l'une des 5 tensions d'entrée nominale les plus répandues (3,3, 5, 12, 15 ou 24 V=)  et dans des tensions de sortie de 3,3, 5, 9, 12 ou 15 V=. La capacité à pleine charge est assurée sur toute la plage des températures de l'industrie, de -40 à +85°C.</p>
<p>La série MTE1 offre le plus haut niveau de sensibilité à l'humidité (MSL 1) et est compatible avec une température de brasage par fusion de pointe de 245°C, conformément à la norme J-STD-020D. L'absorption et la rétention de l'humidité peuvent s'avérer un problème majeur pour de nombreux composants montés en saillie présentant un MSL moins élevé, car d'importantes tensions peuvent être générées quand la pièce est soumise à une montée en température rapide et très élevée, comme dans le cas d'un  brasage par fusion sans plomb, par exemple. Le dégagement soudain d'humidité sous forme gazeuse qui en résulte peut aisément détruire physiquement le composant. Un MSL de 1 évite d'avoir à prendre des mesures onéreuses de manipulation et de stockage.</p>
<p>Conçue pour répondre aux normes d'encombrement de l'industrie, la série MTE1 peut, grâce à son brochage compatible, être utilisée en remplacement d'anciens modèles sans avoir à reconfigurer la topologie du circuit imprimé de l'application.</p>

Adatti all’uso in un gran numero di applicazioni nei settori industriali e dell’automazione, i convertitori della famiglia MTE1 sono caratterizzati da un grado di efficienza fino all’88% in tutte le condizioni di carico - un valore nettamente superiore rispetto a quello di analoghi prodotti al momento disponibili sul mercato - con conseguente riduzione della quantità di calore che deve essere dissipato. <p>I convertitori della linea MTE1 sono caratterizzati da un livello di sensibilità all’umidità (MSL) pari a 1 (ovvero sono immuni dai danni provocati dall’umidità) e risultano compatibili con una temperatura di picco della saldatura a rifusione (reflow) di 245 °C in conformità alla J-STD-020D. La ritenzione e l’assorbimento dell’umidità può rappresentare uno dei maggiori problemi per molti dispositivi a montaggio superficiale caratterizzati alti da livelli di sensibilità MSL: in questo caso è possibile il verificarsi di sollecitazioni di notevole entità che si generano quando il componente è soggetto ad aumenti di temperatura rapidi e di ampie proporzioni, come accade durante il processo di saldatura a rifusione lead-free. Il successivo repentino rilascio dell’umidità sotto forma di gas può facilmente distruggere fisicamente il dispositivo. Un livello di sensibilità all’umidità MSL 1 evita il ricorso a costose precauzioni nelle fasi di handling e di storage.</p>
<p>Ospitati in package conformi a un footprint standard, questi nuovi convertitori possono rimpiazzare analoghi prodotti (con i quali risultano compatibili a livello di pin-out) in progetti esistenti eliminando la necessità di procedere al re-engineering della scheda PCB dell’applicazione.</p>

<p>The 3000A series is available with 80, 100, 150 or 200 nH inductance values. Maximum rated peak current is 57 Amps for the 80 nH device. Typical Rdc is only 0.20 mOhm across the series. The 3000B series has inductance values of 85, 100, 120, 150 or 200 nH and a maximum rated current of 78 A for the 85 nH inductor. Rdc is also extremely low and is typically 0.29 mOhm.</p>
<p>Using a low-loss core material, combined with low series resistance (Rdc), gives the inductors a high overall efficiency. The low inductance values suit high frequency applications while their compact low profile dimensions, 7.1 x 7.0 x 4.96 mm for the 3000A series, are ideal for designs where available board space is at a premium.</p>
<p>Both series are available in surface mount packages suiting high volume manufacturing.</p>

Anwendungsgebiete sind Rauschreduzierungs-Schaltungen in Schaltnetzteilen mit hohen Schaltfrequenzen und hohen Stromstärken sowie Gleichspannungswandler und Spannungsregler-Module.</p>
<p>Die Serie 3000A wird mit Induktivitäten von 80, 100, 150 und 200 nH angeboten. Der maximale Scheitelstrom der Version mit 80 nH ist mit 57 A angegeben. Der typische Gleichstromwiderstand (Rdc) beträgt bei der gesamten Serie einheitlich nur 0,20 mΩ. Die Serie 3000B ist mit Induktivitätswerten von 85, 100, 120, 150 und 200 nH verfügbar. Der Maximalstrom der Version mit 85 nH beträgt 78 A. Der Gleichstromwiderstand ist mit typisch 0,29 mΩ auch bei dieser Serie äußerst gering.</p>
<p>Dank des verlustarmen Kernwerkstoffs und des niedrigen Serienwiderstands (Rdc) zeichnen sich die Induktivitäten durch einen hohen Wirkungsgrad aus. Mit ihren niedrigen Induktivitätswerten eignen sich die Bauelemente für Anwendungen mit hohen Schaltfrequenzen. Die kompakte und flache Bauform (7,1 x 7,0 x 4,96 mm im Fall der Serie 3000A) bietet zudem ideale Voraussetzungen für Designs, in denen der Platz auf der Leiterplatte knapp ist.</p>
<p>Beide Serien werden für die Großserienfertigung in oberflächenmontierbaren Gehäusen angeboten.</p>

<p>La série 3000A est proposée avec une gamme d'inductances de80, 100, 150 or 200 nH.80, 100, 150 o200 nH  Le courant de crête nominal maximum est de 57 A pour la self de 80 nH. La résistance (Rdc)typique  n'est que de 0,20 mOhm dans  toute la série. La série 3000B est proposée avec une gamme d'inductances de 85, 100, 120, 150 ou 200 nH et le courant de crête nominal maximum est de 78 A pour l'inductance de 80 nH. La résistance (Rdc) est également très basse, typiquement de 0,29 mOhm.</p>
<p>L'emploi d'un matériau à faibles pertes associé à une  faible résistance série (Rdc) donne aux inductances un rendement global élevé. Leurs faibles inductances sont conçues pour les applications haute fréquence, tandis que leur boîtier compact extra plat (7,1 x 7,0 x 4,96 mm pour la série 3000A) est idéal quand l'encombrement sur la carte est un critère primordial.</p>
<p>Les deux séries sont proposées en boitier CMS, parfaits pour la production de masse.</p>

<p>La serie 3000A è disponibile in valori di induttanza di 80, 100, 150 o 200 nH. Per l’induttore da 80 nH, la corrente di picco massima è pari a 57A. Per tutti i modelli della famiglia il valore tipico di Rdc è di soli 0,20 mOhm. La serie 3000B è invece formata da modelli con valori di induttanza di 85, 100, 120, 150 o 200, mentre la corrente massima è di 78A per l’induttore da 85 nH. Il valore tipico di Rdc è solo di 0,29 mOhm.</p>
<p>L’utilizzo di un materiale a bassa perdita per il nucleo (core), abbinato al ridotto valore della resistenza serie, ha permesso di realizzare induttori caratterizzati da un’elevata efficienza. I ridotti valori di induttanza permettono l’uso di questi nuovi induttori in applicazioni ad alta frequenza, mentre le dimensioni ridotte e il basso profilo – le dimensioni dei componenti la serie 3000A sono pari a soli 7,1 x 7 x 4,96 mm - li rendono adatti all’impiego in progetti dove lo spazio a disposizione sulla scheda è limitato.</p>
<p>Entrambe le nuove serie sono disponibili in package SMT adatti per produzioni in elevati volumi.</p>

The RBQ-12/33-D48 model provides what are believed to be the industry’s highest efficiencies of up to 96% from a standard DOSA-compliant quarter-brick package. The RBQ-12/33-D48 is designed to operate in most applications with convection cooling.</p>
<p>The RBQ-12/33-D48 can operate from a standard telephone network voltage (TNV) network supply of 36 to 75 VDC around a nominal 48 VDC. The RBQ series is ideal for use in a host of telecommunications, enterprise IT and wireless networking infrastructures that use a distributed power or regulated intermediate bus architecture. The RBQ-12/33-D48 will reliably deliver 33A/400W @ 60°C with 200LFM airflow.</p>
<p>Optional features include a load sharing option for higher power or N+1 applications, conformal coating for harsh environments, Positive &amp; Negative on/off control logic and optional pin lengths to accommodate various application board thicknesses.</p>
<p>Protection features include output over voltage, over current protection, input under voltage and over temperature shutdown. Input / Output isolation is provided by 2,250 VDC Basic insulation.</p>

Diese besteht aus isolierten 400-W-Gleichspannungswandlern mit 12 V Ausgangsspannung. Das Modell RBQ-12/33-D48 dürfte mit bis zu 96 % den höchsten Wirkungsgrad aller DOSA-konformen Quarter-Brick-Stromversorgungsmodule haben. Es ist für den Betrieb in den meisten Anwendungen mit Konvektionskühlung ausgelegt.</p>
<p>Das Modell RBQ-12/33-D48 kann an den üblichen Spannungen -in Telekommunikationsnetzen  von 36 V bis 75 V (Nennwert: 48 V) betrieben werden. Ideal geeignet ist die RBQ-Serie für eine Vielzahl von Telekommunikationsnetzen, gewerblichen IT-Netzen und drahtlosen Netzwerk-Infrastrukturen, die mit dezentraler Stromversorgung ausgestattet sind oder auf einer Architektur mit einer geregelten Zwischenspannung basieren. Das Modell RBQ-12/33-D48 kann bei einem Luftdurchsatz von  1m/s und 60 °C Umgebungstemperatur zuverlässig 33 A und 400 W bereitstellen.</p>
<p>Zu den optionalen Features gehört eine Load-Sharing-Option für Anwendungen mit höherer Leistung oder N+1-redundante Lösungen, ein Schutzüberzug für raue Umgebungsbedingungen, eine Fernein- und -ausschaltfunktion mit positivem oder negativem Logikeingang sowie wählbare Pinlängen zur Anpassung an unterschiedliche Leiterplattenstärken.</p>
<p>Schutzfunktionen gegen Überspannungen und Überströme am Ausgang sowie gegen zu niedrige Eingangsspannungen und Überhitzung gehören zum Ausstattungsumfang. Eine Thermal Shutdown-Funktion ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Isolationsspannung zwischen Ein‑ und Ausgang beträgt 2.250 V DC mit Basisisolierung.</p>

Le RBQ-12/33-D48 est probablement le module au format 1/4 de brique de la norme DOSA qui offre le meilleur rendement de l'industrie, jusqu'à 96%. Il est destiné à la plupart des applications refroidies par convection et peut fonctionner à partir d'une alimentation de réseau téléphonique standard de 36 à 75 V cc avec une tension nominale de 48 V cc. La série RBQ est idéale pour les infrastructures réseau sans fil, télécom ou informatique d'entreprise qui utilisent une architecture d’alimentation de bus distribuée ou régulée. Le RBQ-12/33-D48 délivre avec une totale fiabilité 33A/400W à 60°C avec un flux d'air de 200LFM.</p>
<p>Les options proposées sont la répartition de charge pour les hautes puissances ou les applications N+1, un revêtement enrobant pour les environnements difficiles, une logique de commande de marche/arrêt positive et négative et des broches de longueur optionnelle pour diverses épaisseurs de carte.</p>
<p>À noter que le module est protégé contre les surtensions de sortie, les surintensités, le manque de tension d’entrée et les surchauffes. Enfin, la tension d'isolement entre entrée et sortie est prévue à 2250 Vcc, isolation de base.</p>

Il mod. RBQ-12/33-D48 è caratterizzato dal più elevato livello di efficienza – fino al 96% - tra tutti i convertitori in formato ¼ brick conformi alle specifiche DOSA al momento disponibili. Questo modello è stato progettato per operare in un gran numero di applicazioni che prevedono il raffreddamento per convezione.</p>
<p>RBQ-12/33-D48 può operare nell’intervallo di tensione standard compreso tra 36 e 75VDC di una rete telefonica (TVN - Telephone Network Voltage) con una tensione nominale di 48VDC. La serie RBQ à ideale per l’utilizzo in una vasta gamma di applicazioni nel campo delle telecomunicazioni, enterprise IT e infrastrutture di networking wireless che utilizzano architetture ad alimentazione distribuita (DPA) o IBA (Intermediate Bus Architecture) regolata. Il mod. RBQ-12/33-D48 è in grado di fornire 33A/400W a 60°C con un flusso d’aria di 200LFM (Linear Feet per Minute).</p>
<p>Tra le caratteristiche opzionali si possono annoverare la funzionalità di load sharing utile nelle applicazioni che richiedono una maggior potenza o ridondanza N+1 e il rivestimento mediante conformal coating per utilizzo in ambienti gravosi. La logica di controllo on/off positiva e negativa e la lunghezza dei pin variabile per adattarsi ai diversi spessori delle schede utilizzate nelle varie applicazioni completano il profilo del dispositivo.</p>
<p>Tra le caratteristiche di protezione disponibili si possono annoverare output over voltage, over current protection, input under voltage e over temperature shutdown. L’isolamento tra ingresso e uscita è di 2250VDC (basic insulation).</p>

Packaged as an industry standard open-frame quarter brick module with through-hole mounting, the converter has a 2:1 input range of 36 – 75 VDC around a nominal 48 VDC input. The single 29.8 VDC nominal output can be trimmed from 23.83 (-20%) to 32.78 (+10%)VDC in order to accommodate an application’s specific voltage requirements.</p>
<p>This highly efficient DC-DC converter, typically 92.5%, can deliver up to 5 Amps output current from the fully regulated output. An optional base plate is available for use in conduction-cooled designs such as sealed box RF power amplifiers that are often mounted on radio masts. For these applications the converter and base plate are fixed directly to the host equipment chassis. In this way the operation of end-equipment is efficiently maintained despite being situated in a potentially demanding physical environment. The high efficiency of the PAQ converter greatly assists in reducing operating costs due to less waste power being generated and helps maintain the unit’s reliability.</p>
<p>Protection features include output over voltage, over current protection, input under voltage and over temperature shutdown. A remote On/Off control option offers negative or positive logic input. Input / Output isolation is provided by 2,250 VDC Basic insulation.</p>
<p>The PAQ is ideally suited for use in a broad range of radio frequency power amplifier applications such as telecommunications infrastructures, CATV systems, satellite communications, RF test and MRI imaging equipment.</p>
<p>With its 150 Watt power output rating, the PAQ series is ideally suited to the latest generation of micro cell transceivers and indoor Wi-Fi installations.</p>

Die Wandler werden als Open-Frame-Ausführung im Quarter-Brick-Industriestandardformat für Durchsteckmontage angeboten. Ihr Eingang deckt bei einer Nenn-Eingangsspannung von 48 V DC einen Bereich von 2:1 ab (36 V bis 75 V DC). Die Serie verfügt über einen Ausgang mit einer Nennspannung von 29,8 V, der in einem Bereich von 23,38 V ( 20 %) bis 32,78 V (+10 %) eingestellt werden kann, um den besonderen Spannungs-Anforderungen einzelner Applikationen gerecht zu werden.</p>
<p>Die hocheffizienten DC-DC-Wandler arbeiten mit einem Wirkungsgrad von typisch 92,5 % und können an ihrem vollständig geregelten Ausgang einen Strom von bis zu 5 A abgeben. Für kontaktgekühlte Designs wie zum Beispiel versiegelte HF-Leistungsverstärker, die häufig auf Sendemasten angebracht werden, gibt es als Option eine Kühlplatte, über die der Wandler direkt am Chassis des jeweiligen Geräts befestigt wird. Hierdurch wird die Funktionsfähigkeit des Equipments auch unter potenziell kritischen Umgebungsbedingungen auf effiziente Weise sichergestellt. Der hohe Wirkungsgrad der PAQ-Wandler trägt dank der geringeren Verluste wesentlich zur Senkung der Betriebskosten bei und kommt abgesehen davon auch der Zuverlässigkeit der Geräte zugute.</p>
<p>Die Wandler sind gegen Überspannungen und Überströme am Ausgang sowie gegen zu niedrige Eingangsspannungen geschützt. Eine Thermal Shutdown-Funktion ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Conditionné en standard industriel à châssis ouvert au format 1/4 brique à montage traversant, ce convertisseur possède une plage de tensions d'entrée 2:1 de 36 – 75 V cc avec une tension d'entrée nominale de 48 V cc. La tension de sortie nominale unique de 29,8 Vcc peut être ajustée sur une plage étendue de 23,83 (-20%) à 32,78 (+10%) Vcc pour répondre aux exigences imposées par de nombreuses applications.</p>
<p>Ce composant, dont le rendement peut typiquement atteindre les 92,5%, est capable de délivrer jusqu'à 5 ampères régulés en sortie. Une plaque métallique est proposée en option pour les modèles refroidis par conduction, tels que les amplificateurs de puissance RF en boîtiers hermétiques qui sont montés sur les mâts d'antenne, par exemple. Pour ce type d'application, le convertisseur et le socle sont fixés directement au châssis de l'équipement hôte. De cette façon, l'équipement terminal est solidement fixé, même s'il est implanté dans un environnement difficile. En générant moins d'énergie perdue grâce à son rendement élevé, le convertisseur PAQ contribue sensiblement à la réduction des coûts d'exploitation et à la fiabilité du module.</p>
<p>De plus, il est protégé contre les surtensions de sortie, les surintensités, le manque de tension d’entrée et les surchauffes. Une option de marche/arrêt à distance donne le choix entre logique de commande positive ou négative. Enfin, la tension d'isolement entre entrée et sortie est de 2250 Vcc.</p>
<p>Le module PAQ trouvera idéalement son emploi dans une large gamme d'applications à amplificateur de puissance radiofréquence comme les infrastructures de télécommunications, les systèmes de télédistribution, les communications par satellite, ou bien encore les équipements d'essai hyper ou d'imagerie par résonance magnétique.</p>
<p>Avec une puissance absorbée nominale de 150 Watts, la série PAQ est idéale pour les émetteurs-récepteurs à microcellule et les installations wifi intérieures de dernière génération.</p>

Disponibili come moduli open frame in formato ¼ brick di tipo through-hole, i componenti la serie PAQ sono caratterizzati da un intervallo di tensioni di ingresso 2:1 compreso tra 36 e 75 VDC con una tensione nominale di ingresso di 48 VDC.</p>
<p>La singola uscita nominale di 29,8 VDC può essere regolata in un range compreso tra 23,83 (-20%) e 32,78 (+10%)VDC al fine di  soddisfare requisiti di tensione specifici.</p>
<p>Caratterizzati da un elevato livello di efficienza, pari al 92,5% (valore tipico), questi convertitori sono in grado di erogare una corrente massima di 5°: l’uscita è completamente regolata. Nelle applicazioni in cui è richiesto un raffreddamento per conduzione, come nel caso degli amplificatori di potenza RF alloggiati in contenitori sigillati montati su supporti per antenne radio, è previsto un baseplate opzionale.</p>
<p>In applicazioni del tipo appena descritto convertitore e baseplate sono fissati direttamente allo chassis dell’apparecchiatura host. Il questo modo il funzionamento dell’apparecchiatura finale risulta caratterizzato da un’elevata efficienza anche in ambienti operativi particolarmente difficili.</p>
<p>L’elevato livello di efficienza dei convertitori PAQ permette di ridurre i costi operativi grazie al minor speco di energia e contribuisce ad aumentare l’affidabilità dell’unità.</p>
<p>Tra le numerose funzioni di protezione si possono annoverare quelle contro sovratensioni di uscita (output overvoltage), sovracorrenti (overcurrent), input under voltage e over temperature shutdown. Il controllo on/off remoto permette di gestire ingressi a logica positiva o negativa, mentre l’isolamento di I/O è di 2.250 VDC (basic insulation).</p>
<p>I convertitori della serie PAQ sono adatti all’uso in una vasta gamma di applicazioni come amplificatori di potenza a radiofrequenza (telecom infrastructures), sistemi CATV, comunicazioni satellitari, apparecchiature di visualizzazione MRI e test RF.</p>
<p>Grazie all potenza nominale di uscita di 150 W, i convertitori della serie PAQ possono essere utilizzati per i transceiver per microcelle di ultima generazione e installazioni Wi-Fi esterne.</p>

<h3><em>Increases power rating, insulation and isolation characteristics and maintains pin compatibility</em></h3>
<p>Murata Power Solutions today announced the MEJ2 series of fully encapsulated compact through-hole 2 Watt DC-DC converter series. Providing a pin-compatible upgrade path from Murata’s NMJ, MEV1 and NMV series, the MEJ2 2W devices are available with either single or dual outputs covering the nominal voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12 or 15 VDC. Input voltage variants accommodate 3.3, 5, 12 or 15 VDC.</p>
<p>In a compact SIP format, the MEJ2 series has about twice the power density of its predecessor, the NMJ series, while offering safety agency recognition according to UL60950 for basic/supplementary insulation for voltages up to 200 Vrms. Recognition to the medical standard IEC 60601 (3rd Ed) is pending and provides for one measure of operator protection (MOOP) to 200 Vrms. With guaranteed internal physical spacings, and a factory test voltage of 5.2kV, the MEJ2 series can be used with confidence in high noise environments where conventional high isolation parts with 3kV test ratings but only functional isolation and no guaranteed spacings may not be adequate.</p>
<p>The series maintains high levels of efficiency down to typical and light loads saving power, reducing temperature rise and increasing product reliability.</p>

<h3><em>Unter Beibehaltung der Pinkompatibilität wurden die Nennleistung und die Isolationseigenschaften verbessert</em></h3>
<p>Murata Power Solutions kündigte heute die aus vollständig gekapselten, kompakten 2-W-Gleichspannungswandlern für Einsteckmontage bestehende Serie MEJ2 an. Die als pinkompatible Upgrades für die Serien NMJ, MEV1 und NMV von Murata konzipierten 2-W-Produkte der Reihe MEJ2 sind mit einem oder zwei Ausgängen mit Nennspannungen von 3,3, 5, 9, 12 oder 15 V DC lieferbar. Die Eingangsspannung beträgt wahlweise 3,3, 5, 12 oder 15 V DC. </p>
<p>Die im kompakten SIP-Format angebotene Serie MEJ2 zeichnet sich gegenüber der Vorgängerserie durch eine rund doppelt so hohe Leistungsdichte aus. Die Produkte besitzen die Freigabe gemäß UL60950 für die Grund  und Zusatzisolierung für Spannungen bis 200 Vrms. Die Anerkennung nach der Medizintechnik-Norm IEC 60601 (3. Ausgabe) ist beantragt und gewährleistet Personenschutz (Measure Of Operator Protection – MOOP) bis 200 Vrms. Mit garantierten räumlichen Abständen im Innern und einer werksseitigen Prüfspannung von 5,2 kV kann die Serie MEJ2 vertrauensvoll auch in Umgebungen mit hohem Störaufkommen eingesetzt werden, in denen konventionelle Produkte mit hoher Isolationsspannung, die bis 3 kV getestet sind, aber nur Funktionsisolation und keine garantierten Abstände aufweisen, möglicherweise ungeeignet sein können. </p>
<p>Die Serie zeichnet sich auch bei typischer und geringer Last durch einen hohen Wirkungsgrad aus. Dies spart Energie, reduziert die Wärmeentwicklung und kommt der Produktzuverlässigkeit zugute.</p>

<h3><em>Accroît la puissance nominale, les caractéristiques d'isolation et conserve la compatibilité des pattes</em></h3>
<p>Murata Power Solutions a annoncé aujourd'hui la série MEJ2 de convertisseurs compacts pleinement encapsulés, à trous traversant, de 2 Watt CC/CC. En fournissant un brochage compatible avec les séries NMJ, MEV1 et NMV de Murata les Convertisseurs MEJ2  2W sont disponibles avec des sorties, soit uniques, soit doubles, couvrant les tensions nominales 3.3, 5, 9, 12 ou 15 volts de CC. Les variantes de tensions d'entrée acceptent 3.3, 5, 12 ou 15 volts CC. </p>
<p>Dans un format SIP compact, la série MEJ2 possède environ deux fois la densité de puissance de son prédécesseur la série NMJ, tout en offrant la reconnaissance des agences de sécurité, conformément à  l’UL60950, pour une isolation de base/ supplémentaire pour des tensions allant jusqu'à 200 Volts RMS. L'agrément à la norme médicale IEC 60601 (3ème édition) est en cours et prévoit une mesure de protection de l’opérateur (MOOP) 200 Volts RMS. Avec des espacements physiques internes garantis, et une tension d'essai usine de 5,2 kV, la série MEJ2 peut être utilisée avec confiance dans des environnements de bruits forts là où l'isolation conventionnelle de 3 kV en test, mais seulement en isolation fonctionnelle et avec des espacements non garantis ne pouvant être adéquats. </p>

<p>Murata Power Solutions ha annunciato l’introduzione di una nuova serie di DC/DC through-hole da 2W compatti e completamente incapsulati. I modelli della famiglia MEJ2 rappresentano un’evoluzione delle serie precedenti NMJ, MEV1 e NMV con i quali risultano pin-compatibili; sono disponibili con uscita singola o doppia  a 3,3, 5, 9, 12 o 15 VDC e con tensioni d’ingresso di 3,3, 5, 12 o 15 VDC.</p>
<p>La serie MEJ2 è fornita in formato compact SIP ed offre una power density all’incirca doppia rispetto alla precedente famiglia NMJ in conformità alla UL60950 per basic/supplementary insulation a tensioni fino a 200 Vrms. La conformità allo standard IEC 60601, normativa che garantisce la protezione per l’operatore (MOOP - measure of operator protection) fino a 200 Vrms, è in approvazione. Grazie alla presenza di opportuni physical spacing interni e all’isolamento di 5,2 kV (factory test voltage), i convertitori della serie MEJ2 possono essere in applicazioni high noise, dove i DC/DC tradizionali - contraddistinti da elevato isolamento a 3kV di tipo funzionale ma privi di spacing garantiti – potrebbero non essere adeguati.</p>
<p>I convertitori di questa serie mantengono elevati livelli di efficienza “power saving” fino al valore tipico anche in condizioni di light load, riducendo gli incrementi di temperatura e aumentando l’affidabilità del prodotto.</p>

<p>村田电源今日宣布推出MEJ2 系列完全封装简洁直插2瓦DC/DC转换器。MEJ2 2W元件提供村田NMJ, MEV1 和NMV系列端子兼容升级路径，有单、双输出可供选择，包括3.3, 5, 9, 12 或 15 VDC的额定电压。不同输入电压容纳3.3, 5, 12 or 15 VDC.</p>
<p>MEJ2 系列为简洁的SIP款，功率强度为前一版本NMJ系列的2倍，并为200 Vrms电压的基本/辅助绝缘提供按照UL60950安全机构的认证。正在进行医疗标准IEC 60601（第3版）的认证并提供其中一项200 Vrms操作保护措施(MOOP)。MEJ2 系列具有充足的内部实体空间和5.2kV的厂房测试电压，MEJ2 系列确定可用于噪音很大的环境，而普通3kV测试额定值的高隔离元器件只有功能性隔离，但没有充足的空间也是不够的。</p>
<p>该系列具有各种高效率水平至典型效率水平，轻负载节电，降低温度升高和提升的产品可靠性。</p>

<p>ムラタパワーソリューションズはケース密封型のスルーホール実装型 ２Ｗ出力DC-DCコンバータ”MEJ2シリーズ”を発売しました。MEJ2シリーズは弊社の既存品NMJ、MEV1、NMVシリーズとピン互換のアップグレード版になります。出力電圧は単出力、二出力タイプ共に3.3、5、9、12、15Vdc定格です。入力電圧は3.3、5、12、15Vdc対応です。</p>
<p>本製品はSIP形状で、電力密度が従来品NMJシリーズの2倍を有し、200Vrmsまでの基礎/補助絶縁の安全規格 UL60950適合になります。医療安全規格認証 IEC 60601(第3版)申請中で、200Vrmsまでのオペレータ保護（MOOP）に寄与します。MEJ2シリーズは内部の絶縁距離が確保されており、出荷前の最終試験で5.2kVの絶縁耐圧試験が行われています。単なる機能絶縁ではなく、3kVの絶縁試験電圧で規定された従来の高絶縁電源が必要となる高ノイズに晒された環境においても問題なく使用できます。実装スペースが確保されていないところでの使用は適切ではありません。</p>
<p>本シリーズは、軽負荷及び定格負荷までの条件下において、高効率が維持され、これに伴い温度上昇が抑制され、製品の信頼性が向上しています。</p>

These compact modules, measuring just 58 x 61 x 12.7 mm, comply with the DOSA half-brick footprint. Ideally suited for power amplifier, wireless networks and other telecom applications, the PAH series mechanical design incorporates a baseplate that provides conduction cooling for demanding thermal environments found in outdoor sealed box applications and telecommunications equipment cabinets.</p>
<p>The PAH series has been optimized to meet the demanding dynamic load requirements for power amplifier applications. Typically, power amplifiers can switch very quickly from very light load to maximum load conditions. In addition, the electrical design of the modules offers tight line and load regulation together with low Vout ripple/noise.</p>
<p>The PAH series was designed to deliver full output power over the entire telecommunications input voltage of 36 - 75 VDC. The PAH-28/16-D48 module will provide 28 VDC output at up to 16 A (450W). The output can be trimmed over a wide range from 16.8 to 32.2 VDC, meeting the requirements of many standard and non-standard applications. Other models available include the PAH-28/12.5-D48 providing 12.5 A / 350 Watt output and the PAH-53/8.5-D48 that has a 53 VDC / 8.5 A output rated at 450 W.</p>
<p>Safety features such as thermal shutdown, output over-voltage, input under-voltage, and short circuit protection are included across the entire PAH range. All models are certified to UL/EN 60950, CSA-C22.2 with Input to output isolation rated at 2250 VDC, Basic insulation.</p>

Die Module mit 450 W Ausgangsleistung entsprechen mit ihren Abmessungen von 58 x 61 x 12,7 mm dem DOSA-Half-Brick-Format. Die PAH-Serie eignet sich ideal für Leistungsverstärker, Funknetzwerke und andere Anwendungen des Telekommunikations-Sektors. Bestandteil ihrer mechanischen Konstruktion ist eine Grundplatte zur Kontaktkühlung in Anwendungen mit anspruchsvollen thermischen Bedingungen, wie sie beispielsweise in abgedichteten Behältern für den Outdoor-Einsatz oder Telekommunikations-Equipment herrschen.</p>
<p>Die PAH-Serie wurde eigens für die dynamischen Lastverhältnisse von Leistungsverstärker-Applikationen optimiert, die extrem schnell zwischen sehr geringer Leistungsaufnahme und Höchstlast wechseln können. Die elektrische Auslegung der Module ist außerdem auf sehr genaue Netz‑ und Lastregeleigenschaften und eine Ausgangsspannung mit geringem Welligkeits‑ und Rauschanteil ausgerichtet.</p>
<p>Die PAH-Serie ist so konzipiert, dass sie über den gesamten in der Telekommunikation üblichen Spannungsbereich von 36 bis 75 V DC die volle Ausgangsleistung liefern kann. Das Modul PAH-28/16-D48 erzeugt 28 V DC bei bis zu 16 A (450 W). Die Ausgangsspannung kann hier über einen weiten Bereich von 16,8 bis 32,2 V DC verstellt werden, um die Anforderungen vieler standardmäßiger und nicht standardmäßiger Anwendungen erfüllen zu können. Als weitere Produkte sind das Modul PAH-28/12.5-D48 mit 12,5 A Ausgangsstrom und einer Ausgangsleistung von 350 Watt sowie das Modul PAH-53/8.5-D48 lieferbar. Letzteres liefert eine Ausgangsspannung von 53 V DC bei 8,5 A, was einer Nennleistung von 450 W entspricht.</p>
<p>Zu den Sicherheits-Features, mit denen sämtliche Module der PAH-Serie ausgestattet sind, gehören eine Thermal Shutdown-Funktion sowie der Schutz vor zu hoher Ausgangsspannung, zu geringer Eingangsspannung und Kurzschlüssen. Alle Modelle sind gemäß UL/EN 60950 und CSA-C22.2 zertifiziert. Die Isolationsspannung zwischen Ein‑ und Ausgang beträgt 2.250 V DC mit Basisisolierung.</p>

Ces modules compacts de 58 x 61 x 12,7mm délivrent 450 Watts en sortie et répondent au format 1/2 brique de la norme DOSA. Parfaitement adaptée aux amplificateurs de puissance, aux réseaux sans fil et autres applications de télécommunication, la série PAH comprend un socle qui assure le refroidissement par conduction dans les conditions thermiques délicates imposées par les boîtiers étanches en extérieur ou les armoires d'équipements de télécommunications.</p>
<p>Elle a également été optimisée pour les caractéristiques de charge dynamique rigoureuses des amplificateurs de puissance. Typiquement, un amplificateur de puissance peut passer très rapidement d'une charge très faible à la charge maximum. Par leur conception, ces modules Murata assurent une régulation en ligne et en charge, ainsi qu'une ondulation/bruit faible en sortie.</p>
<p>Ils sont prévus pour délivrer une pleine puissance de sortie sur toute la plage des tensions d'entrée utilisées en télécommunications, de 36 à 75 Vcc. Le module PAH-28/16-D48 fournit 28 V cc en sortie jusqu'à 16 A (450W). La sortie peut être ajustée sur une plage étendue de 16,8 à 32,2 Vcc pour répondre aux exigences imposées par de nombreuses applications standard ou non. Les autres modèles proposés comprennent le PAH-28/12.5-D48 et le PAH-53/8.5-D48, qui délivrent respectivement une sortie de 12,5 A / 350 Watts et de 53 Vcc / 8,5 A à 450 W.</p>
<p>Les mesures de protection regroupent la coupure en cas de surchauffe, la protection contre les surintensités en sortie et les courts-circuits, ainsi que le verrouillage par manque de tension d'entrée. In grado di fornire una potenza massima in uscita di 450 Watt, i convertitori della serie PAH hanno dimensioni pari a soli 58 x 61 x 12,7 mm e sono compatibili con il formato ½ brick delle specifiche DOSA. Ideali per amplificatori di potenza, reti wireless e altre applicazioni nel settore telecom, i convertitori della famiglia PAH integrano un baseplate che permette il raffreddamento mediante conduzione richiesto in ambienti critici dal punto di vista termico come ad esempio cabinet di apparecchiature telecom e applicazioni che prevedono contenitori sigillati (sealed box).</p>
<p>I convertitori della famiglia PAH sono stati ottimizzati per soddisfare i requisiti particolarmente stringenti in termini di carico dinamico delle applicazioni che utilizzano amplificatori di potenza. Solitamente questi ultimi possono commutare da una condizione in cui i valori di carico sono molto ridotti alla condizione di pieno carico in tempi molto brevi. Il progetto elettrico di questi moduli garantisce inoltre line/load regulation molto accurate unitamente a valori molto bassi di ripple/noise della tensione di uscita (Vout).</p>
<p>Questi nuovi convertitori sono stati progettati per erogare la massima potenza di uscita sull’intero intervallo di tensioni di ingresso previsto dalle applicazioni in campo telecom, compreso tra 36 e 75 VDC. Il modulo PAH-28/16-D48 fornisce un’uscita di 28 VDC con una corrente massima di 16 A (450W). L’uscita può essere regolata (trimmed) in un intervallo di tensioni molto ampio, compreso tra 16,8 e 32,2 VDC, in modo da soddisfare i requisiti di numerose applicazioni standard e non. Tra gli altri modelli disponibili si possono segnalare PAH-28/12.5-D48 con uscita di 12,5 A/350 Watt e PAH-53/8.5-D48 con uscita di 53 VDC/8,5 A e potenza nominale di 450 W.</p>
<p>Numerose le funzioni di sicurezza integrate in tutti i convertitori della serie PAH, tra cui thermal shutdown, output over-voltage, input under-voltage e short circuit protection. Tutti i modelli sono conformi alle specifiche UL/EN 60950 e CSA-C22.2 con isolamento tra ingresso e uscita nominale di 2250 VDC (isolamento fondamentale).</p>

<p>PAH系列已经优化能满足功率放大器应用的苛刻的动态负载要求。值得一提的是，功率放大器能极其快速地将轻负载转到最大负载条件。此外，该模组的电子设计能提供紧密的线性和负载调节率及低输出纹波/噪音。</p>
<p>PAH系列专为36 – 75 VDC的全部电讯输入电压提供完全输出功率而设计。PAH-28/16-D48 型号在16A(450W)的条件下能提供28VDC。 输出能微调至各种16.8 至 32.2 VDC，符合各种标准和非标准应用。其他备选型号包括提供12.5 A / 350 瓦输出的PAH-28/12.5-D48，而PAH-53/8.5-D48有53 VDC / 8.5 A输出，额定功率450W。</p>
<p>安全特性如热关闭、输出过压、输入欠压，短路保护都包括在全部的PAH范围。所有型号经认证符合UL/EN 60950, CSA-C22.2，输入至输出隔离，额定2250 VDC，基本绝缘。</p>

<p>本シリーズはテレコム向けの36－75Vdcの入力電圧で全出力電力を提供します。PAH-28/16-D48モデルは、16A/28Ｖdc（450Ｗ）出力になります。出力電圧は多くの標準品や標準品でない用途に使用できるように16.8～32.2Vdc間で調整できます。他のモデルとして、12.5A/350W出力のPAH-28/12.5-D48 や53Vdc/8.5A で450Ｗ出力のPAH-53/8.5-D48があります。</p>

Delivering up to 100 W from an industry standard 1/16 brick package opens new design opportunities for power engineers needing to maximize power density where board space and efficiency are top priorities.</p>
<p>The ULS series delivers efficiencies up to 92% on the 12Vout model and 91% on the 3.3 and 5Vout models. The ULS series power modules utilize advanced mechanical design techniques, components and materials to optimize the electrical performance and thermal properties. Couple the advanced thermal management properties and the high efficiency of the ULS series together in an industry standard 1/16th brick package and the result is a power module that will deliver the rated power with less reliance on forced air cooling in most applications.</p>
<p>Within the ULS series three single output models are available providing engineers with options including 3.3, 5 or 12 VDC outputs. The modules include all of the features expected for today’s demanding applications. The standard features include an input voltage range of 36-75V, meeting the insulation requirements of EN60950 - up to 2250VDC, remote on/off control, over temperature protection, over current protection, input under voltage protection. The output can be trimmed up or down by 10% in order to make up for load losses or to suit special application requirements. The modules include output voltage sense pins that maintain output regulation to within ±0.2% across all input line and load conditions.</p>
<p>The ULS 100W series has been designed for demanding high reliability applications including datacom, networking, wireless networks, optical network equipment, server and storage. The modules are offered in either thru-hole or SMT versions and are rated for operation from -40°C to 85°C.</p>

Die Produkte mit einer Leistung von 100 Watt sind für verteilte Stromversorgungen oder Zwischenspannungs-Architekturen vorgesehen. Die Bereitstellung einer Ausgangsleistung von 100 W im 1/16-Brick-Format eröffnet neue Design-Möglichkeiten für Ingenieure, die nach einem Maximum an Leistungsdichte streben und bei denen die Leiterplattenfläche und der Wirkungsgrad ganz oben auf der Prioritätenliste stehen.</p>
<p>Die Produkte der ULS-Serie kommen auf Wirkungsgrade bis zu 92 % (bei der Version mit 12 V Ausgangsspannung) oder 91 % (bei Modellen mit 3,3 V oder 5 V Ausgangsspannung). Die Stromversorgungs-Module der ULS-Serie basieren auf fortschrittlichen mechanischen Konstruktionsverfahren, Komponenten und Materialien, um optimierte elektrische Leistungsdaten und thermische Eigenschaften bieten zu können. Die anspruchsvollen Wärmemanagement-Eigenschaften und die hohe Effizienz der ULS-Serie resultieren zusammen mit dem standardisierten Sechzehntel-Brick-Format in Stromversorgungs-Modulen, die in den meisten Anwendungen weniger auf Zwangsbelüftung angewiesen sind, um ihre Nennleistung erbringen zu können.</p>
<p>In der ULS-Serie stehen drei Versionen mit jeweils einer Ausgangsspannung von 3,3 V, 5 V oder 12 V zur Auswahl. Alle Modelle besitzen sämtliche Features, die man heute in den anspruchsvollsten Anwendungen voraussetzt. Standardmäßig geboten werden ein Eingangsspannungsbereich von 36 V bis 75 V, die Einhaltung der Isolationsanforderungen gemäß EN60950 (bis zu 2.250 V DC), die Möglichkeit  des Remote-On-Off, ein Übertemperaturschutz, ein Überstromschutz und eine Unterspannungs-Abschaltung. Die Ausgangsspannung kann im Bereich von ±10 % um den Nennwert eingestellt werden, um Spannungsabfälle auf dem Weg zum Verbraucher zu kompensieren oder den besonderen Anforderungen bestimmter Applikationen gerecht zu werden. Über Remote-Sense-Anschlüsse kann eine Regelgenauigkeit von ±0,2 % über alle Eingangsspannungs‑ und Lastbedingungen hinweg erreicht werden.</p>
<p>Die 100-W-Gleichspannungswandler der ULS-Serie wurden für Anwendungen mit hohen Anforderungen an die Zuverlässigkeit entwickelt. Beispiele sind der Datenkommunikations‑ und Netzwerksektor, drahtlose Netzwerke und optisches Netzwerk-Equipment sowie Server und Massenspeicher. Die Module sind als Durchsteck‑ und SMT-Version lieferbar und für einen Betriebstemperaturbereich von ‑40 °C bis +85 °C ausgelegt.</p>

Murata annonce la sortie de la série ULS de convertisseurs continu/continu de 100 W intégralement régulés. Destinés aux architectures d’alimentation de bus distribuée ou intermédiaire, ces boîtiers de type 1/16 brique au standard de l’industrie délivrent jusqu’à 100 W, ouvrant de nouvelles possibilités aux ingénieurs à la recherche du maximum de densité de puissance avec des contraintes d'encombrement sur carte et de rendement.</p>
<p>La série ULS offre un rendement pouvant atteindre 92% sur le modèle 12 V<sub>sortie</sub> et de 91% sur les modèles 3,3 et 5 V<sub>sortie</sub>. Pour optimiser leurs performances électriques et leurs propriétés thermiques, les modules de puissance de la série ULS font appel à des techniques de conception mécanique de pointe, ainsi qu'aux tout derniers composants et matériaux. Réunissez les propriétés de gestion thermique avancées et le rendement élevé de la série ULS dans un boîtier 1/16 brique au standard de l’industrie, et vous obtenez un module capable de fournir la puissance nominale avec moins de refroidissement forcé par circulation d’air dans la plupart des applications.</p>
<p>La série ULS comporte trois modèles à une sortie avec options de sortie 3,3, 5 ou 12 V=. Les modules sont dotés de toutes les caractéristiques attendues pour les applications exigeantes d’aujourd’hui. Parmi les caractéristiques standard, citons une plage de tension d’entrée de 36 à 75 V répondant aux obligations d’isolation de la norme EN 60950 : jusqu’à 2250 V=, une commande Marche/Arrêt à distance, ainsi que des protections contre les surchauffes, les surintensités et le manque de tension d’entrée. La sortie peut être ajustée à ±10% afin de compenser les pertes de charge ou pour répondre aux exigences imposées par les applications spéciales. Les modules sont munis de broches qui mesurent la tension de sortie et assurent une régulation dans les limites de ±0,2% dans toutes les conditions de ligne d’entrée et de charge.</p>
<p>La série ULS 100 W a été conçue pour des applications exigeantes de grande fiabilité, dont la transmission de données/mise en réseau, les réseaux sans fil, les équipements de réseaux optiques, les serveurs et le stockage. Proposés en version montage traversant et en saillie, les modules sont conçus pour fonctionner à des températures nominales comprises entre -40°C et 85°C.</p>

In grado di erogare fino a 100W di potenza, i nuovi convertitori della serie ULS sono disponibili nel formato standard 1/16brick e aprono nuove possibilità a tutti i progettisti dei sistemi di potenza che devono ottimizzare la densità di potenza in applicazioni dove ingombri sulla scheda ed efficienza sono parametri critici.</p>
<p>La serie ULS è caratterizzata da livelli di efficienza del 92% (per il modello con tensione di uscita di 12 V) e del 91% (per i modelli con Vout di 3,3 e 5V).</p>
<p>I moduli di potenza della famiglia ULS utilizzano innovative tecniche di progettazione meccanica e componenti e materiali avanzati per ottimizzare le prestazione elettriche e le proprietà termiche. Tutto ciò, abbinato alle avanzate caratteristiche di gestione termica, all’elevata efficienza e alla disponibilità in un formato 1/16 brick standard ha permesso la realizzazione di moduli di potenza in grado di erogare la potenza nominale prevista senza dover ricorrere, in numerose applicazioni, al raffreddamento mediante aria forzata.</p>
<p>La serie ULS è formata da tre modelli a singola uscita con tensioni di uscita di 3,3, 5 o 12 VDC. Tutti i modelli sono corredati dalle funzionalità atte a soddisfare i requisiti della applicazioni più impegnative. Tra le caratteristiche standard si possono annoverare le seguenti: range di tensione di ingresso di 36-75V,conformità ai requisiti di isolamento previsti dallo standard EN60950 fino a 2250VDC, controllo on/off remoto e protezione di over temperature, over current e input under voltage. È possibile la regolazione delle uscite verso l’alto o verso il basso in misura pari a ±10% al fine di compensare perdite di carico o soddisfare specifici requisiti dell’applicazione considerata. I moduli prevedono anche pin di sense (rilevamento) della tensione di uscita che mantengono la regolazione dell’uscita in un range compreso tra ±0.2% in tutte le condizioni della linea di ingresso e di carico.</p>
<p>La serie ULS da 100W è stata esplicitamente progettata per l’uso in applicazioni dove è richiesto un elevato grado di affidabilità tra cui datacom/networking, wireless network, optical network equipment, server e storage. I moduli sono disponibili in versioni thru-hole o SMT e possono operare nell’intervallo di temperature compreso tra -40°C e 85°C.</p>

<h3>Ideal for applications that require a long hold-up time</h3>
<p>The Murata Power Solutions RUW15 series of 15 W ultra-wide single output isolated DC DC converters has been developed for transportation and industrial applications where the input voltage may vary widely and a hold-up capability is required. Accommodating an extremely wide input range from 16 to 160 VDC, the RUW series has a high immunity to input surges and is able to “ride-through” drop-outs of indefinite duration across the input range by addition of a relatively small external capacitor. For example the output can be maintained for up to 120 ms at full load from any input when using a 900 uF capacitor.</p>
<p>Models are available with the nominal outputs of 5, 12 or 24 VDC. Input to output isolation complies with the internationally recognized standard UL 60950 for reinforced isolation of up to 4 kVAC test voltage. A DC OK / Power Fail signal gives an advance warning of typically 2 ms of the impending loss of output.</p>
<p>Measuring 50.8 x 50.8 x 20.0 mm, the RUW15 protection features include overload, over temperature, output short circuit and output over voltage.</p>

<h3>Die Produkte eignen sich ideal für Verkehrstechnik-Anwendungen, die nach langen Überbrückungszeiten verlangen</h3>
<p>Murata kündigte heute die Serie RUW15 von Murata Power Solutions an. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Reihe von isolierten 15 W Gleichspannungswandler mit einem Ausgang, vorgesehen für Verkehrstechnik und Industrie-Applikationen, in denen die Eingangsspannung stark schwanken kann und außerdem die Fähigkeit zur Überbrückung von Netzausfällen gefordert wird. Die RUW-Serie bietet einen extrem weiten Eingangsspannungsbereich von 16 bis 160 Volt DC. Sie zeichnet sich deshalb durch hohe Immunität gegenüber eingangsseitigen Spannungsspitzen aus und ist in der Lage, Ausfälle der Eingangsspannung von beliebiger Länge über den gesamten Eingangsspannungsbereich zu überbrücken. Hierzu muss lediglich ein relativ kleiner externer Kondensator hinzugefügt werden. Mit einem 900-µF-Kondensator etwa kann die Ausgangsspannung bei voller Leistung für eine Dauer von bis zu 120 ms aufrechterhalten werden.</p>
<p>Die Serie besteht aus drei Modellen mit Nenn-Ausgangsspannungen von 5, 12 oder 24 Volt DC. Die Isolation zwischen Ein und Ausgang entspricht dem international anerkannten UL-60950-Standard, der nach einer erhöhten Isolationsspannung von 4 kV AC verlangt. Ein „DC OK/Power Fail“-Signal zeigt einen bevorstehenden Verlust der Ausgangsspannung typisch 2 ms im Voraus an.</p>
<p>Die Außenabmessungen der Serie RUW15 betragen 50,8 x 50,8 x 20,0 mm. Schutzfunktionen gegen Überlastung, Überhitzung, Kurzschlüsse am Ausgang sowie Ausgangs-Überspannungen sind eingebaut.</p>

<h3>Idéal pour les applications nécessitant un long temps de maintien dans le transport</h3>
<p>Murata présente sa série RUW15 de convertisseurs DC/DC 15W isolés à une seule sortie ultra large. Elle est plus particulièrement destinée au domaine du transport et aux applications industrielles dont la tension d'entrée est très variable et qui nécessitent une capacité de maintien. Adaptés à une gamme de tensions d'entrée très étendue de 16 à 160 Vcc, les appareils de la série RUW sont très peu sensibles aux surtensions transitoires et peuvent donc "résister" à des chutes de tension d'une durée indéfinie sur toute la plage d'entrée si on leur ajoute un condensateur externe de dimensions relativement peu importantes. Par exemple, avec un condensateur de 900 µF, la sortie peut être maintenue jusqu'à 120 ms à pleine charge à partir de n'importe quelle entrée.</p>
<p>La série comprend 3 modèles avec des sorties de 5, 12 ou 24 Vcc. L'isolation entrée/sortie est conforme à la norme internationale UL 60950 pour une isolation renforcée jusqu'à une tension d'essai de 4kV ca. Un signal CC OK / Coupure d'alimentation avertit d'une perte de sortie environ 2 ms à l'avance.</p>

<h3>I nuovi dispositivi sono ideali per applicazioni nel settore trasporti dove si richiede un lungo hold-up time.</h3>
<p>Murata Power Solutions ha annunciato l’introduzione dei nuovi convertitori DC/DC isolati da 15W a singola uscita della serie RUW15 ad ampio range di ingresso destinati ad applicazioni nei settori industriale e trasporti dove sono tipicamente richiesti ampi range della tensione di ingresso e con funzionei di hold-up.</p>
<p>Caratterizzati da un intervallo di tensioni di ingresso compreso tra 16 e 160 VDC, i convertitori della serie RUW offrono un’elevata immunità ai surge di ingresso e sono in grado di sopportare drop out di durata indeterminata sull’intero intervallo di ingresso con la semplice aggiunta di un condensatore esterno di capacità relativamente bassa. Per esempio, utilizzando un condensatore da 900 uF, è possibile mantenere il valore dell’uscita per un tempo massimo di 120ms a pieno carico (full load)  con qualsiasi ingresso.</p>
<p>La serie è composta da tre modelli con uscite nominali di 5, 12 o 24 VDC. L’isolamento tra ingresso e uscita è conforme a quanto previsto dallo standard UL 60950 per l’isolamento rinforzato che richiede una tensione di test fino a 4 kVAC. Un segnale DC OK  / Power Fail avverte con un anticipo di circa 2 ms dell’imminente perdita dell’uscita.</p>
<p>Di dimensioni pari a 50,8 x 50,8 x 20 mm, i convertitori della serie RUW15 sono protetti contro overload, over temperature, output short circuit e output over voltage.</p>

<p>该系列有3个模块，提供5V，12V或24VDC的额定输出。对于4 kVAC测试电压的加强绝缘，输入至输出隔离符合国际认证标准UL 60950。一个DC OK信号/电源失效信号能提前给将近的输出损耗一个约2 分钟警告。</p>

<p>ムラタは入力電圧範囲が広く、ホールドアップ時間を必要とする輸送や産業用向けに15W出力の超広入力電圧範囲  単出力絶縁型DC-DCコンバータ RUW15シリーズを発売しました。RUWシリーズは16-160Vdcの非常に広い入力電圧範囲を有しており、入力サージ印加に対する耐性が高く、比較的小容量のコンデンサを入力側に外付けすることで一時的な電圧低下を入力電圧範囲内で抑止する事ができます。例えば、900μFのコンデンサを入力側に外付けした場合、出力電圧は規定入力電圧範囲でのいかなる入力電圧条件下でも全負荷で最大120ms間維持できます。</p>
<p>本シリーズは定格出力電圧5、12、24Vdcの３モデルから成ります。入出力間絶縁は、国際標準規格UL 60950準拠の最大4kVdc試験電圧での強化絶縁に対応しています。機能の1つであるDC OK/Power Fail信号は、出力電圧の低下を事前に標準で2ms間警告します。</p>
<p>RUW15のサイズは50.8 x 50.8 x 20.0 mm、保護機能としては過負荷、過昇温、出力短絡、出力過電圧のそれぞれの保護機能を有します。</p>

Suitable for use in a wide variety of industrial factory automation, communications and medical equipment, the series comprises two single output models, the 250 Watt MVAC250 and the 400 Watt MVAC400 units. Both models accommodate the universal AC input voltage range from 90 to 264 VAC with active power factor correction (PFC) and active inrush protection.  Each model is available with a popular nominal output voltage of 12, 24 or 50 VDC. In addition, a 12 VDC 1 A fan supply and an auxiliary 5 VDC 2 A output are provided across the range.</p>
<p>With efficiency rating of 94% typical, the units are packaged in an industry standard 1U open frame format measuring just 127.00 x 76.20 x 35.56 mm (5 x 3 x 1.4 inches). These low profile power converters have significantly better convection cooled performance characteristics than other competing designs. The MVAC250 can deliver up to 170 W output and the MVAC400 up to 250 W without the need for any forced air flow. With their high convection-cooled ratings, the use of the MVAC series allows OEMs to eliminate fan and fan controllers in their traditional power designs. In addition to the cost savings, removing cooling fans also allows designers to increase their product MTBF while decreasing system noise.</p>
<p>The MVAC250 and the MVAC400 comply with the internationally recognized UL60601-1 3<sup>rd</sup> edition medical safety standard making them suitable for use in medical applications. The units also meet the IEC60950/UL60950 safety specifications and EN55022 standard for conducted emissions.</p>
<p>Each power supply is suited for use in a broad range of operating temperature environments. They are capable of operating on full power from -10 to +50 degrees C with a start-up temperature down to -20 degrees C and derated operation up to 70 degrees C</p>
<p>Protection features include over voltage, over current, and over temperature. A remote sense input and power OK signal are provided across the range. Optional droop current sharing allows multiple supplies to be operated in parallel.</p>

<h3><em>Bei Konvektionskühlung für Leistungen bis 250 W geeignet</em></h3>
<p>Murata kündigte heute die aus 3 x 5 Zoll messenden Open-Frame-Netzteilen bestehende MVAC-Serie von Murata Power Solutions an. Die Serie erreicht einen Wirkungsgrad bis zu 94 % und eignet sich für ein breites Spektrum industrieller Anwendungen in den Bereichen Fabrikautomatisierung, Kommunikation und Medizintechnik. Sie besteht aus zwei Modellen mit jeweils einer Ausgangsspannung, nämlich der Version MVAC250 mit 250 Watt und der Version MVAC400 mit 400 Watt Leistung. Beide Modelle sind für Netzspannungen von 90 bis 264 V AC geeignet und verfügen über eine aktive Leistungsfaktor-Korrektur (PFC) sowie eine aktive Kontrolle des Einschaltstroms. Jedes Modell ist mit den gängigen Nenn-Ausgangsspannungen 12 V, 24 V und 50 V DC verfügbar. Alle Versionen bieten zudem eine Lüfter-Versorgungsspannung (12 V DC/1 A) und einen Hilfsausgang (5 V DC/2 A).</p>
<p>Mit Maßen von 127,00 x 76,20 x 35,56 mm entsprechen die flachen Netzteile dem industriestandardgemäßen 1U Open-Frame-Format und bieten bei Konvektionskühlung deutlich bessere Performance-Werte als konkurrierende Produkte. Ohne jegliche Zwangsbelüftung kommt der MVAC250 auf eine Ausgangsleistung von 170 W, während es beim MVAC400 250 W sind. Dank ihrer hohen Leistungswerte bei Konvektionskühlung geben die Netzteile der MVAC-Serie den Herstellern die Möglichkeit, in ihren traditionellen Stromversorgungs-Designs auf Lüfter und die entsprechenden Ansteuerschaltungen zu verzichten. Dies senkt nicht nur die Kosten, sondern reduziert auch den Platzbedarf der Stromversorgungs-Lösungen. Nicht zuletzt können Designer durch den Wegfall der Lüfter den MTBF-Wert ihrer Produkte verbessern, während sich die Geräuschentwicklung reduziert.</p>
<p>Die Netzteile MVAC250 und MVAC400 entsprechen dem international anerkannten medizinischen Sicherheits-Standard UL60601-1 (3. Ausgabe) und kommen damit für die Verwendung in medizinischen Applikationen in Frage. Darüber hinaus erfüllen sie die Sicherheits-Spezifikationen gemäß IEC60950/UL60950 sowie die EN55022-Norm für leitungsgebundene Störabstrahlungen.</p>
<p>Die Netzteile sind für den Einsatz in einem großen Temperaturbereich geeignet. Sie können mit voller Leistung bei ‑10 °C bis +50 °C eingesetzt werden, bei einem garantieren Kaltstart bis ‑20 °C. Bei entsprechender Leistungsminderung ist der Betrieb bei Temperaturen bis +70 °C möglich. Die Netzteile sind gegen Überspannungen, Überströme und zu hohe Temperaturen geschützt. Alle Produkte der Serie sind mit einem Remote-Sense-Eingang ausgestattet und geben ein Power-OK-Signal aus. Das optionale Droop Current Sharing erlaubt überdies das Parallelschalten mehrerer Netzteile.</p>
